Overview

#WinterHeat

The Winter Heat Series is open to all NASCAR Heat 5 players on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X. Each of the Heat Winter Series events will carry a different theme to bring an extra dimension to the race.

From the existing eNASCAR Heat Pro League Series, 10 of the teams (Chip Ganassi Gaming, Gibbs Gaming, JR Motorsports, JTG Daugherty Throttlers, Petty eSports, RCR eSports, Roush Fenway Gaming, Stewart-Haas eSports, Team Penske eSports and Wood Brothers Gaming) have all signed up for the Winter Heat Series. The existing esports drivers for these teams will automatically earn a position in the first three events.

Frequently Asked Questions

#WinterHeat
Is this part of the official eNASCAR Heat Pro League?

No, the Winter Heat Series is separate from the official eNASCAR Heat Pro League. The Winter Heat Series offers competitors the opportunity to race against official eNHPL teams and drivers, as well as showcase their talents ahead of next season’s draft.

Can I use a controller or is the use of a wheel/pedal system mandatory?

All competitors are allowed to use either a controller or wheel/pedal system for the open qualifiers and the Movember 50, Holiday 60 and New Year’s Resolution 70. The Valentine’s Day 80, which serves as the Winter Heat Series finale, will likely require the use of a wheel/pedal system provided by the Winter Heat Series.

Are custom setups allowed in the Winter Heat Series?

Yes, participants are allowed to create their own custom setups for each of the Winter Heat Series.

Is fundraising for the Movember Foundation required for the Movember 50 main event?

All participants are encouraged to create an account on Movember.com and join the Motorsport Games – Movember 50 team. The starting lineup for the Movember 50 will be determined by fundraising efforts. While fundraising is not required, it is directly tied to a participant’s starting position for the Movember 50 on November 22.

How do I advance to the Valentine’s Day 80 – Winter Heat Series finale in February?

The top three finishing drivers from each platform in the November, December and January events will earn a position in the Valentine’s Day 80. If a competitor that is already locked into the finale finishes in the top three positions in subsequent events, the next highest-finishing driver not already locked in will earn a position in the finale.

Do I have to participate in all events if I register?

The November, December and January events will all have open qualifiers in which participants will look to advance. If a competitor is invited to advance out of the open qualifiers and is offered a position in that month’s main event, they will be required to confirm their participation with Winter Heat Series officials. This invitation does not lock them into any subsequent events. If a competitor finishes inside the top three, they will be locked into the Winter Heat Series finale and participation will need to be confirmed.
